When Kawanishi Bags was first founded, the female craftsmen who made the bags were conducting in-house research and development to clarify the direction of the brand, and their goal was to create bags that they themselves would want to use.

When developing a bag from scratch, various factors must be taken into consideration, including usability as well as productivity and material efficiency.

Beautiful even to the back of the handle

The handle is made of genuine leather and is attached with matte rivets that match the material.

What I want you to see is the back of the handle.

By sandwiching leather parts that are individually cut into a round shape to fit the rivets, we have not only increased durability, but also achieved an elegant and sophisticated finish.

 

You can also use it as a shoulder bag by attaching the optional "shoulder parts" to the shoulder metal fittings (D-ring + leather parts) on both sides of the bag.

Smart yet large capacity

 

Although the abb looks compact, it has a large capacity of 8.4 liters for a tote bag.

Tablets up to 10 inches (approximately 20 cm high x 15 cm wide) can also be placed sideways.

The secret to its large capacity is the wide gusset width of 14cm, which has been carefully designed.

Through trial and error, we developed this product to strike the perfect balance between ease of carrying and large capacity.

*A4 file size is just enough to fit in landscape orientation.

Therefore, if you put an A4 file in it, the magnet will not close.

The shape of this bag is not suitable for people who frequently need to carry A4 files.

"Adult Canvas" features a finely woven texture

At Kawanishi Kaban, we call canvas that is finer than regular canvas "adult canvas."

Compared to ordinary canvas, it looks finer and more delicate, but it is more durable and has been paraffin-treated to make it water-repellent.
